Six reasons clients work with us

  • Microsoft certified expertise

Our engineers hold expert and associate Microsoft certifications across Azure architecture, security, networking, identity and Windows Server.

  • Mission-critical experience

We've designed and run infrastructure in healthcare, finance and manufacturing, where downtime is not an option.

  • Right-sized solutions

Enterprise-grade results without enterprise overhead — no bloat, no gaps, no unnecessary licensing costs.

  • Security by design

Zero Trust principles, role-based access, Microsoft Defender for Cloud and network segmentation are standard practice.

  • Transparent & documented

Every engagement ends with network diagrams, runbooks and change logs. You own the knowledge, not just the infrastructure.

  • True partnership

Long-term relationships and honest recommendations — even when the right answer means less work for us.

Enterprise discipline, small-business scale

Large organizations have architects, security teams and change processes that keep their infrastructure reliable. Most small and mid-sized businesses don’t — and they shouldn’t have to pay enterprise consulting rates to get the same quality of work.

That’s the gap Raynode was built to fill. Our engineers have designed and supported infrastructure where outages have real consequences, and hold Microsoft certifications at the expert level. We apply that experience at a scale and price that fit a growing business.

What working with us looks like

Honest assessments

We start by understanding your environment and your business before recommending anything. If the right answer is to keep what you have, delay a purchase or choose a cheaper option, we’ll tell you.

Clear scope, no surprises

Projects are defined up front: what we’ll deliver, how we’ll do it and what it costs. If something changes along the way, we discuss it before doing extra work — not on the invoice.

Vendor-neutral advice

Our recommendations are based on what’s right for your workloads, budget and team — not on a preferred vendor. If you’d like, we can supply the hardware and licensing too, or you can buy through your own supplier.

Documentation as a deliverable

Network diagrams, configuration records, runbooks and change logs are part of every engagement, not an optional extra. Your infrastructure should never depend on one person’s memory — including ours.

Security in every decision

We apply Zero Trust principles throughout: least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication, segmented networks and monitoring. Security isn’t a separate project; it’s how we build.

Who we’re a good fit for

  • Businesses without dedicated infrastructure staff that need senior expertise
  • Internal IT teams that need specialist help with Azure, Hyper-V, VMware or high availability
  • Organizations facing a specific event — a VMware renewal, end-of-life hardware, a security review or an insurance questionnaire
  • Leaders who want straight answers about their infrastructure, in plain language

Frequently asked questions

What size businesses do you work with?
We focus on small and mid-sized businesses — typically organizations without a large in-house infrastructure team, or with a small IT team that needs senior server, virtualization and cloud expertise. We scale our approach to your size rather than applying an enterprise playbook.
Are your engineers Microsoft certified?
Yes. Our team holds Microsoft certifications including Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert and associate certifications in Azure administration, networking, security, identity and Windows Server. The full list is on this page.
Do you work only with Microsoft technologies?
Microsoft is our specialty — Azure, Windows Server, Hyper-V, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 — but we also work with VMware vSphere, backup platforms and the networking and storage that sit underneath. We recommend what fits your environment.
Will we be locked into working with you?
No. Every engagement ends with complete documentation, and we build environments your team or any qualified engineer can operate. Clients stay because the work is good, not because they can’t leave.
Where are you located?
We’re based in Trevose, Pennsylvania, and work on-site across Philadelphia, Bucks County, Montgomery County, Delaware County and Chester County. Much of our work — especially Azure and managed services — is delivered remotely for businesses across the US.
